Lauren brings 25 years of experience in business development, sales/marketing, education, and community engagement on three continents to her role as one of Windward’s Partnership Development Managers. Most recently, she worked for a local nonprofit where she developed deep relationships across San Diego’s emergency management, law enforcement, and aging communities. A self-described “matchmaker,” she excels at designing mutually beneficial partnerships in support of services that are culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and grounded in equity and compassion. She applies this multifaceted experience in building relationships and cultivating strategic partnerships to helping Windward advance our business objectives.
“From personal experience at both ends of the in-home-care-need spectrum with my two grandmothers, I know how essential it is to have access to a service that provides knowledgeable, skilled, and reliable people to coordinate and provide all the care our loved ones require. That is what is so appealing about Windward: our providers can deliver tailored services based on the client’s needs and loved one’s preferences, taking the stress away from the family and allowing them to be present as loved ones rather than as primary caregivers. I’m grateful to help families find the help they need during difficult times.”
