Terry Ehlke
Terry Ehlke, RN, BSN, CMC, RN Clinical Services Manager and Director of Patient Care Services – Windward Home Health
Terry began working with Windward Life Care in 2013 with extensive nursing experience in acute care, psychiatric, home health, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings. A certified Director of Nursing in Long Term Care, Terry spent a decade leading a nursing team in a skilled nursing facility before beginning her career in care management. As the Windward Life Care RN Clinical Services Manager, Terry’s responsibilities include infection control, employee training, and direct care staff supervision. She joined the Windward Home Health team in 2019 as an RN Case Manager, before becoming the Director of Patient Care Services in 2020. Terry earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and is a Registered Nurse in California. Terry is also a certified Aging Life Care Manager.
“The move to care management was a natural fit, combining my clinical assessment and management skills, and building upon the network of medical and professional resources that I’ve developed over the years. The most rewarding part of being a care manager is seeing the relief on the faces of family members when I identify their needs and explain the different options and resources available to them in caring for their loved one. Each person has an interesting story, and unique needs. I love finding my role in each individual client’s life, and using my skills and compassion to create a care plan that will help them reach their goals, and enrich their lives.”
