Nichole Enbody joined the Windward Life Care team in 2020 as a Staffing Coordinator and has since taken on the duties of Human Resources Coordinator. Her professional background in the healthcare field includes having worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), emergency room supervisor, office manager, and marketing manager. Nichole’s experience working in a variety of medical settings combined with her organizational and problem-solving skills have prepared her well for the field of aging services. As Human Resources Coordinator, Nichole supports the Human Resources Department in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure home care aide positions are filled. She also assists in the administration of employee benefits, leaves of absence, worker’s compensation claims, and employee retention efforts.
“When I became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), my first job was in a nursing home. I have a vivid memory of being with one of our patients on Christmas Eve. She was near the end of her life, and her family came in and spent some time with her. I stayed with her even after my shift ended, until she took her last breath. It is so important that everyone has this kind of support, someone to care for them and be an advocate for them, especially at the end of life. I have spent most of my career in the healthcare field and find it very rewarding. I am happy to be a part of the Windward team and contribute to improving the lives of our seniors and people with disabilities.”
