Debby Rightmire, COTA/L, ECHM, Aging Life Care Manager
Debby has worked in the field of occupational therapy for over 10 years, primarily with seniors in skilled nursing and home health settings. Debby earned a bachelor’s in rehabilitation services from Western New Mexico University and an associate’s degree in occupational therapy from Santa Ana College. She has been a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2011. Debby recently received her Executive Certification in Home Modification from the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
“During my time working in a skilled nursing facility, I became aware of the increasing number of seniors with fall-related injuries sustained at home. This realization sparked my interest in fall prevention, and home safety and modification. I continue to be an advocate for older adults who want to age in place in their own homes. I am excited to be part of the Windward Life Care team and the opportunity to help clients live at home safely, with dignity and happiness.”
